It's been a week after the member boom. And there have been a few requests for meet ups in the shoutbox since then. It's time to let meet up, have a cuppa, play some game, chit some chat, and get to know each other.
Even though my FYP thesis has been handed it, my semester is still about 2 weeks away before end. I still have 2 other major projects to hand in in these 2 weeks and FYP project presentation to be done. I would only be free when study week starts, so tentatively, I'm setting the meet up date as 13th of April (Friday the 13th) unless there are some violent objections. I believe this also would be the best time for NUS students to attend.
It's 2 weeks away, so we still have some room for discussions and planning for the meet up.
First, venue. Any suggestions?

i'm clueless when it comes to places to eat. but i think might have to look at how many ppl can make it first, see what place can accommodate the (possibly) huge turnout. unfortunately i can't make it on the 13th. my friend's birthday.
Weekend is good! Let's find out how many people are willing to attend. Then we can decide on the place. Like tstar said, if a lot of people, then need to find a big place.. :)

I thought normally people would prefer to reserve weekends for their bf/gf/husband/wife/son/daughter/dad/mum/grandpa/grandma that's why I've never chosen weekend in the first place. I thought people would be more likely to be available after working hours on a weekday.

so far, NYDC seems quite stable since its their own network. carls jr is also using their own network, but i don know why i keep ganna disconnected the last time i tried using it. wireless@sg will need to depends on ur luck.
Holland v sound interesting. The problem is with people living at east side. are they fine with going holland v? if yes, then we go lor. (the most the next outing we go siglap to make up for it lor. :P)
